                  Paris is known as the Capital of Fashion. From the 18th century, during th reign of Louis XIV to these days, Paris is very fashionable city. Louis XIV paid attention to clothes that his servants were wearing, so everyone in his at his royal court was wearing expensive clothes. Fashion in Paris isn't cheap. In the 1920s, when brand Coco Chanel became a symbol of elegance and luxury, other brands started to compete with each other. It made Paris a good start for other brands that wanted to grow. But Paris isn't only about famous fashion designers- people get involved too. A lot of brands started to import their clothes to Paris, because they saw that Parisians are more likely to buy something that other people in different countries.              In the Ancient world, "fashion" didn't exist. There were only cultures- and clothes were a part of it. When one culture dissapeared, other came into its place.            There were two characteristical ways of making dresses: one cloth was draped- fabric was wrapped around the body without sewing. Other dresses were tailored- the fabric was cut into pieces and sewing together.          Two different dresses were worn in two different places. Drapped robes wore people that lived near Medditerranean Sea, because clothes were airy and light. Also material matched the concept of delicate and smooth robe.
