Paris is known as the Capital of Fashion. From the 18th century, during th reign of Louis XIV to these days, Paris is very fashionable city. Louis XIV paid attention to clothes that his servants were wearing, so everyone in his at his royal court was wearing expensive clothes. Fashion in Paris isn't cheap. In the 1920s, when brand Coco Chanel became a symbol of elegance and luxury, other brands started to compete with each other. It made Paris a good start for other brands that wanted to grow.
