Observation of everyday life

When I'm finished with my lessons, I usually take the bus. I prefer to read than scroll Instagram or watch videos. In my bag for school, there is always one, small book for me to read. I like to rest in the bus, listening to the music. But sometimes when I'm turning a page, I look up. Then, I see a lots of people on their phones and few on their books too. In any place I go, I notce people always doing some kind of activity, for example reading, writing, studying etc. Everybody is busy with theirselves.

Then I realized, that most of us is busy all the time. There's no time for rest or reflection. Even when I'm going home, tired after all day of lessons, I scroll my phone or watch TV. In the XXI century, in the time of the Internet and social medias, society is in hurry, only few people are reflecting on their everyday life, through the constat flow of information. Our brain can't process this all, so we are looking for other alternatives. A several number of people know that observation is very important especially for our mental health. Even in hard times(fe. quarantine), we should find a little things that we can reflect on. We live under pression of showing that we are doing something valuable. We can't notice that often "something valuable" is in front of our faces.

  1. True, it's good for us to make time in our lives for doing nothing, for boredom. It helps us be more creative and efficient when we need to be.
