Is lying morally wrong?

                                                         Is lying morally wrong?

Lying is something that all of us are doing. I've never met a person who doesn't lie. It's like a part of our nature. There are people who lie more and who lie less.

We are doing it for our credit or because we might hurt others. Lie isn't always bad, but this isn't good either.

I prefer painful truth than beautiful lie. In my opinion, everybody deserves truth- even this unpleasant.

As far I can see it, lying in "small things" isn't bad, but in this more serious, like betrayal or murder, is morally wrong. When lie is about "me" and it isn't about something serious, then it should be personal- I can't decide in someone's business.

For me, lying is bad but it isn't a crime.- of course, when it isn't linked with the law. So, I am trying to avoid it.

  1. It's good to know you prefer painful truths. Are you absolutely certain? :-)
